Much of Albina's history exists in the built environment, and specifically in the informal third-places that once characterized the neighborhood.
In an effort to quantify this loss, a record of the neighborhood's informal third places has been taken along N Williams Avenue, the prominent commercial thoroughfare in Albina that once signified Black prosperity.
